Why sign in the browser?
iPadOS has a built-in markup tool, and it works well for quick notes. This tool adds a guided flow — typed or drawn signatures, dates and initials, placed exactly where the document needs them — and it works the same on iPad, iPhone, Android and computers.
Apple Pencil or finger?
A Pencil gives the most natural-looking signature. Without one, sign with your fingertip slowly and a bit larger than on paper, then resize it on the page — or type your name and pick a handwriting-style font.
Sending the signed file
After download, use the Share button to send it by Mail or Messages, or save it to Files or iCloud Drive. The document is processed on your iPad; we never receive it.
